Abstract

This study aimed to examine the effects of using mobile learning in public schools in Jordan to teach chemistry lessons to students in the tenth grade on their achievement and their attitudes toward using it in chemistry lessons. This study involved 180 students, who were divided into an experimental group (n=92) students and control group (n=88) students. The study instruments consisted of a pre-test, post-test, and questionnaire. SPSS was used to analyze study data. The results detected significant differences among both the experimental group and the control group, for the benefit of the experimental group. In addition, the results confirm that students of the experimental group have a positive attitude towards mobile learning and that they show statistically significant improvements in their achievement after implementing mobile learning. The study recommends further studies about M-learning.
