Sociological Portraits: Some Considerations

Abstract

In this conceptual paper we aim to present some considerations on Bernard Lahire's proposal - sociological portraits, focusing on its definition, elaboration and potentialities. To accomplish this purpose, a documental analysis was conducted, which, together with the mobilization of the authors' experience as sociologists, permits to discuss the concept of sociological portraits.
